Depending on the software of your GPS, it is not always accurate.  To avoid the possibility of turning a horse trailer around on a narrow dirt road, use the directions printed below:

From Atlanta & Gainesville,I-85 & I-985:  Headed north from Atlanta, from I-285 (the perimeter) go about 30 miles to I-985.  It is a connector to Gainesville, splits off I-85 from the left lanes.  Traveling north on I-985, after the last Gainesville Exit #24, the four-lane becomes Highway 365. Go about 8 miles north of Gainesville, go straight through the stop light at Hwy. 52, proceed about 1/10 mile to the bottom of the hill and turn right on Athens Street (right before mile marker 33). Travel about one mile into the small town of Lula.  Go straight through the 4-way stop, cross over the railroad tracks, immediately bear to the left onto Ga. Hwy 51(East).  Go about 4 miles, just past mile marker 4, turn right onto Hickory Flat Road.  Go one mile, look for the ranch sign with a horse on it, turn right onto gravel road Hickory Flat Drive. At the top of the short hill, the road makes a 45 degree right angle, stay on the 2-lane gravel road (gravel roads on the left and right are private driveways) down a gradual hill until you see a cream colored metal building and dark brown PVC fence.   There is a street sign with the numbers of all the buildings on the ranch. Turn left at the street sign in front of this building where the asphalt starts. Then follow the asphalt drive about one-fourth mile through the woods, around the corner and down the hill to the equestrian center.

From northeast Georgia on Hwy 365:  Headed south on 4-lane Hwy 365, pass Belton Bridge Road,  get in the left turn lane, and turn left (southeast) on Athens Street.  Travel about one mile into the small town of Lula.  Go straight through the 4-way stop sign, cross over the railroad tracks, immediately bear to the left onto Ga. Hwy 51.  Go about 4 miles, just past mile marker 4, turn right onto Hickory Flat Road.  Go one mile, turn right onto gravel road Hickory Flat Drive.

From Greenville I-85 Southbound:  Take Exit #149 (Banks Crossing).  Turn north on U.S. Hwy 441, go about 2 miles to Ga. Hwy 164 WEST.  Turn left onto Hwy. 164 WEST at Certus Bank and go about 2-3 miles toward Homer.  On the outskirts of Homer, turn left onto Ga. Hwy 51 and go about 6 miles.  Just before mile marker 4, turn left onto Hickory Flat Road. Go one mile, turn right onto gravel road Hickory Flat Drive. Then follow the asphalt drive about one-fourth mile through the woods, past the house, around the corner and down the hill to the equestrian center.

From Buford area I-85 Northbound:   Take Exit #147 (Commerce/Maysville, Hwy 98)  Turn left onto Ga. Hwy 98 and travel four  miles into Maysville.  In Maysville, do NOT turn right to continue on Hwy 98 - instead, stay straight ahead onto Ga. Hwy 52 six miles  to Gillsville.  In Gillsville, turn right onto Hwy 323 East, travel about 3.5 miles to Hickory Flat Road.  Turn left onto Hickory Flat Road, go about 1.5 miles to Hickory Flat Drive - it will be a gravel road on the left, a hairpin left turn. From Athens/Hwy 441:  Take 441 north about 20 miles and cross over I-85 at the Banks Crossing interchange (Exit #149).  Continue north on U.S. Then follow the asphalt drive about one-fourth mile through the woods, past the house, around the corner and down the hill to the equestrian center.
