sheltered run pen with sand footing.

Horse safe high density plastic fencing surrounds
the turnout pastures where horses spend several hours a day. No pasture board is available at this time. All eight of
our pastures are used to provide individual turnout, which eliminates injuries caused by alpha horses establishing leadership,
and helps prevent "buddy sour" issues.
The outdoor arena, located behind the stables, is approximately 125'x235' with river sand footing. New
PVC fencing and stadium-type light fixtures have been installed for evening riding and events. The round pen is located inside
the stables.
Day riders are welcome to trailer in to use
the indoor indoor arena, outdoor arena, trails and other facilities by appointment. We have a "call
before you haul" policy, please speak with someone, do not just leave a voice mail, to confirm
availability. Trails are sometimes closed for events, closed to allow hunting, or closed in very wet conditions for resource
protection and horse/rider safety. The indoor arena may be occupied by an event or riding lessons.
Please be familiar
with ranch rules prior to your arrival, and have your negative coggins with you. All riders must have a waiver on file, riders
under 18 must have both parents signatures on waiver. Links to download the waiver, ranch rules and the current trail map
are below.
For day riders, the facility fee is $10/day/horse with a $30 minimum to use the indoor arena
during the day, $50 minimum for evening use or to run the lights. Ranch guests do not pay a facility fee.

The two bedroom rental cabin, nestled into the edge of the woods for privacy, offers a
view of the fishing pond from the front deck. The rear bedroom deck overlooks the noisy shoals on Grove River.
